Unit 1
Friday:
We introduced the concept of Radical Self-Care as a tool for success:
- Radical Self-Care as a methodology for long-term success.
- Radical responsibility: Taking ownership of your energy, focus, and commitments.
- Identifying self-sabotaging habits: What tends to derail you?
Saturday:
We discussed the importance of Lymphatic health and energy flow: Tools for managing physical fatigue. Limbic system and emotions: Recognizing triggers and creating mental space for focus.
Sunday:
We finalized the Radical Self-Care Plan, create accountability structures, and prepare for triggers that may arise during the YTT journey.
- Identifying boundaries: What needs to shift in your relationships, work, or habits to create space for YTT?
- Preparing for setbacks: Recognizing self-sabotaging patterns before they arise.
- Commitment vs. discipline: Building a sustainable routine for the long haul.

Friday:
Shared homework stories where you identified a scar on your body and journal about the time period, events, memories, and emotions connected to it. Discussed the anatomy and physiology of fascia. Learned about body reading patterns and all the "ceptions" as it pertains to our environments internally and externally.
Saturday:
Discussed how to assess and manipulate fascia to improve mobility and function. Explored connections between fascia and Chinese meridians. Self-massage techniques and pattern opposition "protocols" based on photo body reading.
Sunday:
Integration and Application.

Explored the relationship between fascia and emotions, and learn how to identify and release emotional holding patterns within the body.

Learned how to utilize movement patterns and Thai stretching routines to address individual needs and promote fascial health.

Practiced Thai stretching techniques to release tension and promote fascial glide.
