What is Advanced Certification?
This 2-day training is for Buti® Certified Instructors only. We do ask that you have a consistent Buti® practice teaching at least 1 year prior to attending. The training is centered around advanced sequencing, movement progression, deepening of energetic anatomy and somatic experience and of course the opportunity to audition to become a Master Trainer. Auditions are NOT required. Only audition if you want to try out for Master Trainer or want valuable feedback from our team to help your practice reach new heights. Advanced Certification is typically led by a team of 3 seasons Buti® Master Trainers and for the first 6 months, Bizzie Gold will be there herself.
What to Expect?
Certification is a life-changing experience. You’ll work hard, push yourself through physical and emotional barriers and connect with other students who will become lifelong friends. Training days run approximately 10 hours depending on the group size. Day one is focused on instructional material, lecture, practicum and workshops. The day two will be focused on auditions and feedback. We encourage participation in as many of the auditions as you can even if you're not auditioning yourself.
Come prepared to work hard. Bring hydration and snacks to keep your energy up. Also, be sure to bring a device where you can download and make playlists. Bring your own yoga mat as some studios do not offer mat rentals. We do suggest bringing multiple changes of clothes as you will likely look like you went for a swim after the first Master Class. Be ready to be open, connect with your fellow instructors and step into the next level of your leadership and mastery with Buti®.
Auditioning
If you're choosing to audition, you will simply indicate this to your lead instructor on Day One. We ask that you do not pre-choreograph your audition. We WILL be able to tell - PROMISE. We will also be working with music over the training and will be working collaboratively to curate and intentional playlist that pushes you out of your comfort zone. If you do not want to audition for Master Trainer but do want to receive feedback you will simply indicate this to your lead trainer on Day One. On Day Two, we will close with awarding Master Trainee placements. We will discuss on-site what the Master Trainee experience looks like and what it includes. Even if you're not selected this time, you're welcome to attend a future Advanced Certification and try again. Keep in mind, we base this decision on more than just movement mastery - it's the ENTIRE PERSON. This includes leadership and communication skills, humility and grace.
Investment
Buti® Advanced trainings are $750. We have partnered with Affirm to offer up to 0% APR financing for those who qualify. If your application is rejected by Affirm, we will set up a custom payment plan with you to be sure you can attend. We do ask that you try through Affirm first. We will check your application status and need to see it as rejected before we can set up a custom invoice. Training Times + Location Details
Trainings start at 8am unless specifically noted in your training specific email. Emails are sent with training location details and announcements 2 weeks before training. You’ll receive an immediate email confirmation as well right after your purchase with the address and studio name along with a few helpful reminders to prepare for your training. Training days typically end between 6-8pm depending on how many people are in your training.
