Join Buti® for our Yoga Alliance accredited program that certifies you to teach Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga, and Primal Flow. Upon successful completion of this program, testing and demonstration, you will receive your 200 HR YTT certificate to be eligible for YA 200 RYT designation. If you are passionate about intuitive movement and infusing your Buti experience with deep, yogic roots, this is a powerful place to begin your teaching career.

Our program is built on the keystone of facilitating leadership that is embodied on and off the mat. For this reason, our program is deeply and intentionally transformational. This is not a training to check-off a box and say you did it, this is a training to push past all of your current edges to find out who you really are after your coping mechanisms and people pleasing falls away. Who are you REALLY? From the deepest, most introspective and soul-searching place, we will all ask ourselves that question and seek the answer through the study of yoga, energetic anatomy, somatic movement, timeline diagnostics, socio-emotional patterning, and leadership training.

What is it?

The Buti® 200 HR YTT is a dynamic yoga methodology focuses on the interconnectedness between the physical body (anatomy & physiology), emotional body (socio-emotional development through the lens of Timeline Diagnostics) + energetic body (Chakra system, Nadis, Koshas + their connection to the endocrine system). Throughout the 6-month program, you will learn the concepts and tools through visual, auditory and kinesthetic means to ensure proper assimilation of knowledge for YOUR learning style.

How Long Does Training Take?

The 200 HR training takes place over (6) Friday to Sunday weekends, held once a month for 6 consecutive months.  For travel convenience, the program will be a hybrid program.  Units 1 & 4 will be held via Zoom and Units 2,3,5 & 6 will each be held on site in Sandpoint, ID or Atlanta, GA. ** You may attend Units 3 and 5 via livestream if needed

What to expect?

This program spans across 6 weekends, each one unit.

Unit 1 is led by Gretchen Herring and begins with The Practice & History of Yoga—students understand and discuss yoga lineages and the unique qualities that define each style. We then move to Yoga- The Effects on the Systems of the Human Body, including an overview of how each bodily system is affected by the practice of Yoga. In Breathing & Beyond, we explore pranayama and the basic principles of physical and energetic anatomy.

Unit 2 is led by Crystal Cerrato and focuses on the foundations of yoga poses and Sanskrit. The Foundations of Hatha Yoga are reviewed pose by pose including Standing, Seated & Twisting Poses, as well as static anatomy & physiology. We then dive deeper into the energetics of our movement practices including Elements, Energy & Nadis in their relationship with the nervous and endocrine systems.

Unit 3 is led by Crystal Cerrato delves deeper into movement anatomy & physiology with Primal Flow, created by world-renowned Yoga Instructor Anton Mackey. This methodology fuses functional and primal movement sequencing into a vinyasa structure grounded in anatomical alignment and proper cueing. Training includes alignment, cueing, hands-on adjustment, class sequencing, modification as well as practicum. It’s here we begin to understand how physical structures interact with energetic structures in the application and practice of dynamic asana.

Unit 4 is led by Bizzie Gold where we begin to understand how physical structures interact with energetic structures in the application and practice of dynamic asana. Explore the proprietary tool from Break  Method, Timeline Diagnostics, as it relates to the energetic and emotional imprinting of the body. Students will explore to great depths the socio-emotional input / output relationships that become their personal narrative and pattern. By the end of this weekend, students will be clear on their own timeline imbalances as well as how to properly recognize signs of imbalance in their students using a series of pattern diagnostic assessments and visual signs in the physical and emotional presentation of the student. Students will also explore leadership styles and how their Timeline Imbalance predisposes them toward certain behavior patterns and self-sabotage cycles.

Unit 5 is led by Tiffany Baskett and carefully structured to optimally support you in gaining, retaining, and applying knowledge that prepares you to teach and continuously evolve.  We dive deeper into the explanation of fascia using descriptive phrases that help students to get a clearer sense of this pervasive tissue. We take a journey through beliefs, and emotions, apply multi-level movement techniques, and create plans and progress tracking to use well past program graduation. When learning new information, it may be the same information that others have learned, but how you integrate it into your unique set of life experiences and ultimately apply it will be a unique expression that no one else can replicate.

Unit 6 is facilitated by Bizzie Gold to have students demonstrate their knowledge through muscle testing and engagement with a partner, and a cumulative Final Exam. This takes place over 2 days and it includes a teaching demo, cumulative written exam, partner cueing and adjustment assessment.
